CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
Built at Brenton Grey, Bald Hill, Nova Scotia and launched in 1970.
Construction: Heavily built by Nova Scotian craftsmen. Planking is Mahogany.
Keel, stem and frame timbers are oak. All Masts, Spars are
varnished spruce.
She was built as a Replica "18th Century Gaff Rigged Schooner"
She had a full refit in 1986 and has had continuous upgrades since.
ENGINE: 4-236 Perkins 85 HP diesel with 2.5:1 reduction drive and a 24 inch Prop.
Current engine hours 3,550.
FUEL TANK: 250 gallon
FRESH WATER: 300 gallon
ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
8 KW PHASOR generator with sound shield and aqua lift muffler. 93 hrs. (new 2005)
Latest approved electrical panels with protection circuitry.
Heart interface inverter (with spare for backup) and 4 battery bank for system. Additional battery for the generator.

Fittings. Rope fenders, Cowl vents, Bow net, Signal flags, Life ring and
much more.
ON DECK
HELM: The helm station has a 60 inch teak traditional ships wheel, a
Danforth/White compass in a brass binnacle. An eye level cluster of
electronics in a cabinet with vertical smoked lexan Doors. Also
interchangeable solid teak doors. A rudder position indicator, map
light, 12 volt Electrical panel, teak grate, under seat storage and a
lift up chart table and storage cabinet.
CANNON: A one pound CANNON set on a teak storage box.
MISCALLANIOUS: A 7 foot Jacob’s ladder, 40 brass and galvanized belaying
pins in 5 pin rails and 1 fife rail, 38 blocks of ash and oak, Cordage for
halyards, sheets etc. nylon, kevlar and roblon. 1 pair 12 volt spreader
lights, 1 pair 500w spreader flood lights. Most standing rigging new in 2005
(stainless steel)
SAILS: Bainbridge tanbark Dacron consisting of: Main Foresail, Forestaysail,
Jib, Genny Gaff Topsail and a Fisherman.
ACCOMODATIONS:
THE GREAT AFT CABIN: The companionway leads down to the Captain's quarters.
Comfortable double berth to port and a 6 foot long Nav station on the starboard
side. There is a well planned abundance of locker space. Four large 1/2 inch thick
lexan quarter windows afford a great view. Opening bronze port holes and overhead
hatch provide ventilation. The head has a round brass sink and there is a TUB. All
fixtures are polished Brass.
THE MAIN SALON: The companionway leads down to the galley on the port side. The
galley is well laid out with a refrigerator, 6 cu. ft. freezer, microwave oven and a
princess electric range. The counter tops are crafted
in rosewood and oak (by Narragansett Shipwrights). To the starboard is a head and
shower. New (2004) refrigerator. The Main Salon has very comfortable settees, dining table and end table.
The salon is varnished mahogany. There are tapestry like fabrics, book shelves and
cabinets of leaded glass.
THE FORE CABIN: The Fore Cabin has a settee, cabinets and lockers. Separate overhead
booby Hatch entrance. A sliding door separates the Fore Cabin from the Main Salon.
OTHER INTERIOR ITEMS: All ports throughout the vessel are bronze and are opening.
There are deck prisms providing additional light below. The entire interior construction
of this vessel is mahogany. Some areas are varnished, while elseware a traditional
colonial finish is used. The overhead beams in the aft cabin are dark walnut.
